Divorce
Divorce is an action filed to have the marriage dissolved by filing a Petition for Dissolution. To file for divorce, one of the parties (either the husband or wife) must have resided in Arizona for at least 90 days before filing for divorce. In addition, people in the military who are stationed in Arizona and have resided here for at least 90 days may also file for divorce.
Arizona is a “no fault” state which means that a divorce can be granted if the marriage is irretrievably broken.
